I am a Minister served in United Church of Canada for more than 15 years. I was born in 1964. I spent my childhood in the city of Kunming in the Province of Yunnan. My family moved to Hong Kong when I was 13 years old. My journey of service begun with my enrollment in the theology program in Chung Chi College in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. I served in Shing Kwong Church of the Church of Christ in China in 1991; was ordained as a minister in 1994 by the Church of Christ in China, Hong Kong Council. I furthered my studies at the Vancouver School of Theology, 2000 Master of Divinity, 2009 Doctor of Ministry. I have attended the Vancouver South Presbytery since 2000; involved in the Ethnic Ministries/Inter-cultural Ministries of United Church of Canada for more than 15 years; for the last 2 years, I am a member of BC Conference Executive Committee.
As a representative of Church of Christ in China, Hong Kong Council in 20 some years ago, I was invited by the Three Self Patriotic Movement to attend conference at Shanghai, Nanjing, as well as Beijing; Now I serve in the largest Chinese speaking congregation within The United Church of Canada; During our Joint Consultation, I will work with others as a team, I am going to listen, to learn; as well as to share and explore the history, polity, theologies, ministries, to establish a continuing work together by the spirit of appreciation and blessing; we see from their eyes and they see from our syes our mission and ministries being continuing uniting in a vision of post-denominational people of God in a wider global context.
